Upstream Corrosion Control & Materials Selection
Mastering Corrosion Control and Materials Selection in Upstream Oil and Gas Operations
This intensive 5-day course provides oil and gas professionals with a comprehensive understanding of corrosion fundamentals, mechanisms, monitoring, materials selection, and mitigation strategies for upstream assets.
Through interactive lectures and hands-on exercises, participants will gain in-depth knowledge to confidently manage corrosion control programs and ensure asset integrity.
Throughout the course, detailed explanations about the requirements of applicable codes and standards such as ISO 21457, NACE MR0175/ISO 15156, EEMUA 194, NACE TM0177, NACE TM0284, API 6A will be provided.
Upon completion, participants will be able to effectively apply the learnings to choose appropriate materials of construction for various upstream oil and gas applications to mitigate corrosion and ensure asset integrity.
