About the Course Instructor
Dr. Mohammad K. Hosseini
PhD, CEng, CSci, FIMMM, FICorr
Dr. Mohammad Hosseini is a highly qualified and accomplished materials and corrosion engineer who has over 24 years of experience in oil and gas industry working with some major operators as well as main EPCI contractors. His experience is diversified from upstream to midstream and downstream oil and gas sectors.
In addition to his industry accomplishments, Dr. Hosseini holds an academic position in the UK, where he has spent years lecturing, researching, and supervising postgraduate students. He delivered numerous training courses to institutions as well as directly to oil and gas companies on different topics such as fundamentals of corrosion, corrosion control and materials selection for hydrocarbon production and refining, chemical treatment for corrosion control, corrosion integrity management, and more.
Dr. Hosseini’s credentials include Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Chartered Scientist (CSci) status. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) and the Institute of Corrosion (ICorr). Furthermore, he is a certified API inspector in 571 and 580 and AMPP/NACE-certified Corrosion Specialist (CS).
